New Jersey State Police Certified "NJ  Basic Boating Safety Course".    One day course includes 8 hours of lecture and videos  and  a closed book test.     Multi day course includes 6 hours of lecture, written homework and closed book test. Workbooks  and other course materials will be provided with the course.    Those that Successfully complete the class and test will recieve a temporary Boating Safety Certificate.    Your permanent Certificate Card will then be sent to you after processing by the NJ State Police Marine Services Unit.    This Class will prepare you and certify you to operate a Motor Boat or Personal Water Craft in the State of New Jersey.    Certified operators ages 13  to 15 may operate vessels with 1 hp motor or 12 volt electric motor,  or if the vessel is over 12 feet long it may have up to 9.9 hp motor.    Certified operators ages 16 and older may operate any motor boat or personal watercraft.

       Have a class in your home with your friends and family.   All that is needed is a Television and DVD player.   We bring the rest.   The only limit to the amount of participants is the size of your home.  Cost is $85.00 per person.

Classes are set at several area locations. These classes are open to the general public ages 13 and older.    Children age 10 to 12 are welcome to take the class but they will not be able to receive their certificates until they turn 13.  Call or E-mail for an explaination or additional information.

Two day Classes are 6hrs long  (3+3) with 2 hrs of written homework and a closed book test to follow.

You must be present for the whole class to be certified, no exceptions!
