Seaspray Services is now offering Security Officer Basic Training  and Security Officer Refresher Classes.

Both classes meet all current standards of the New Jersey State Police, and New Jersey State Law.(SORA)

Security Officer Basic Training

Students must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid "Temporary Certificate of Registration as a Security Officer"

Price of this course is $250.00

Course length is 24 hrs (3 -8hr days)

Course Note Book is provided

Course Contents:

1. Course Administration                                                   (all students are Photographed for their ID Card)(Students should have a valid Photo ID ).

2. Ethics.

3.Report Writing

4. Use of Force and Detention of Suspects (Legal Aspects).

5. First Aid/CPR/AED Awareness.

6. Legislation (Security Officer Registration Act of 2004).

7. Homeland Security (Terrorism Awareness and Prevention for Security Officers).

8. Emergency Response (Incident Command System).

9. Street Gangs (Gang Awareness and Recognition).

10. Theft Prevention.

11. Document Fraud.

Security Officers Refresher Classes

This class is for currently certified Security Officers in need of their 2 year Recertification.

Price of this course is $95.00

Course length is 8 hrs.

  Course Contents:

  1. Course Administration( a students will be photographed for their ID Card) (Students should have a valid Photo ID and their current Security Officers ID Card).

  2. Ethics.
